Promotional Products in the weirdest places

It's hard to know where the promotional products we produce end up.. If you keep an eye out though, you can definately find some promotional products in weird places! For instance this custom printed dinner plate in the bottom of an aquarium at a restaurant!

Why it's some times not worth saving a few cents!

I was talking with one of my suppliers earlier this week, just going through our plans for 2007 - the usual kind of thing for this time of year! Anyway, we got on to the topic of overseas orders, and he mentioned a story of where an end user decided to go direct to China, to shave 2 cents off their unit price.

When the goods arrived, 5000 T-Shirts, 5000 Caps, 5000 Brochures, etc. so did 5000 cheap pens. When the items were packed in to a tote bag, all was fine and all goods were then distributed nationally to all the tradeshows occuring that next week.

On the day before the tradeshow, the staff decided to get the bags ready at their stand, only to find that nearly all of the ink cartridges in the 5000 cheap, and nasty plastic pens they had purchased has exploded with all the ink ruining the other items in the tote bag!
