Australian families all worry about the effect of over-exposure to the sun and the potential harm it can cause. Now there is a new way of protecting yourself this summer, a UV Indictator. At a glance you can now see your exposure to harmful UVA and UVB radiation. It changes colour to let you know when you need to apply your sunscreen and when to seek shade.
Purple Indicates first intial exposure to the sun.
Brown indicates that is time to re-apply your sunscreen
Yellow indicates that it is now time to seek shade and get out of the sun.
