2008 has been marked as the 90th Anniversary of Armistice Day (Remembrance Day).
The United Soldiers’ Fund had approach us in producing some large banners for this special event in which they held for the first time at Martin Place on Monday, 3rd November 2008.
The Launch was officially opened by Hon. John Aquilina (Representing the Premier of NSW).
Exhibited were portraits of WW1 and WW2 Veteran’s, painted by year 7 students from Canterbury Boys High School as well as their ‘Thank You’ letters to all War Veterans.
The NSW Police Brass Quintet Band conducted a performance of selected tunes and Poppy Appeal poppies and badges were on sale.
