I am not sure if you know the story of Crocs Jibbitz? I actually heard the story on Oprah recently. Basically the founder Sheri Schmelzer and her family all loved wearing their Crocs so much that she and her daughter decided to decorate their Crocs at home with buttons and other bits and pieces. At a school swimming carnival someone from the Crocs Company saw Sheri’s daughter wearing her Jibbitz on her Crocs and gave her his card to give to her Mum. Sheri started her business from home and was then able to sell it to the Crocs Company for $20 Million!
