Have you ever been frustrated because your Graphic Designer has created an amazing piece of artwork and then when you go to have it printed on a promotional product you are told that you are limited to spot colours or worse yet a 1 colour print? Gone are the days of these restrictions because JEM Promotional Products now have a new artwork decoration method called Direct Digital Printing where we can print full colour artwork including photos onto a range promotional products including pens, rulers, eraser, nail files, stress shapes and pencils. You are not limited to a flat surface either, this new print method can be used on round products. We have not had a chance to test every product out there yet so if you have a specific product you want printed it is best to send us the product details so that we can let you know whether the product will be suitable for a direct digital print. Below is an example of a ruler that has been direct digitally printed and as you can see you are not limited to illustrations, we can even print photos!

The only restriction we have at the moment is we can’t print products that are higher than 5cm.
This new print method is so exciting but the other fantastic thing that needs to be mentioned is the price! This new method is cheaper than traditional branding methods such as Pad Printing. Pad printing requires the creation of a physical rubber stamp which can be costly and there is normally a set-up per cost per colour so that the stamp can be cleaned and set up again. With this new method there is only 1 small set-up charge and you only pay it once no matter how many colours are used. Why not compare the two prices on your next promotional products quote.
